Microgrids use multiple generation and storage resources to supply more power to a hospital's critical infrastructure in a more cost-effective manner.
Our microgrid resources run in “grid-parallel”—something diesel generators cannot do—to optimize energy supply. This generates additional energy savings for the hospital during blue sky operation, acting like a profit center.
Scale owns, operates, and maintains our equipment. As a result, we take the responsibility of managing and maintaining this infrastructure off of the hospital’s plate. This freedom allows hospital administrators to focus on their core competencies.
